WHAT ARE ITALIAN CHARM BRACELETS?

Italian modular charm bracelets and watches are the rage. These are not the old-fashioned charms that dangle from a link style bracelet. Elegant Italian modular charms are composed of sleek stainless steel in the shape of rectangular links. Charms are embellished with enamel, cubic zirconia, and natural or faux stones. HOW DO I KNOW THAT I'M BUYING FROM A REPUTABLE WEBSITE?

Italiancharms.com is owned and operated by experienced jewelry professionals from Northern California. Our website, Italiancharms.com, was created in May, 2001. We also have retail store at a separate location. Carats Jewelry, that was founded in 1994 and is located in Stockton, California. Carats started selling Italian charm bracelets in November, 2000. The website and store offers the largest selection of Italian charms available in the country.

CAN I ARRANGE MY BRACELET ON-LINE?

Create a bracelet of your dreams by using our Build A Bracelet feature. There's a large variety of different base bracelets to select from that will suit your taste. Various styles of base bracelets are available including laser hearts, puffy hearts, colored edges, matte center with gold edges and shiny center with gold edges.

Try alternating a gold edge base with various charms. The gold edge base will give your bracelet a nice two tone (gold/silver) look that goes so well with most jewelry. Just "drag" charms to the base and watch your dream bracelet come alive! Add charms with cubic zirconias to give it some sparkle or stones to give it more color!

HOW DO I KNOW HOW MANY LINKS TO INCLUDE ON MY BRACELET TO FIT ON MY WRIST?

First, measure around your wrist where you would like the bracelet to fit. It can fit loosely or more fitted depending on your preference.

WHAT IS A MEGALINK?

A Megalink is a charm that connects two MEDIUM (9mm) bracelets; creating one bold bracelet. The Megalink is a perfect choice for many of you with two or more charm bracelets. You may even choose to create an entire bracelet made of Megalinks! Take a look at our entire Megalink collection.

WHAT IS A SUPERLINK?

A Superlink is twice the length of our regular MEDIUM (9mm) charm. We have created a few sample creations to the right. The Superlink is available in our CUSTOM LASER LINK section. The length of the Superlink is ideal for most desired images and/or text. Do a search for "SUPERLINK" and view our variety of selections!

CAN YOU SHOW ME SAMPLES OF COMPLETED BRACELETS?

HOW DO I PUT THE LINKS TOGETHER TO CREATE MY BRACELET?

It is easy to learn how to put your bracelet together yourself. Each link has a spring-loaded clasp mechanism. Use your thumb to slide open the clasp on the two links you wish to join, and hook them together at a 45 degree angle. The springs inside each link come together into a closed position, locking them together. Please see photo to the right.

IS THERE A TOOL TO HELP ME LINK MY BRACELET TOGETHER?

For those who have difficulty linking the charms together, we offer a LINK AID TOOL for $5.

This handy tool links the 9mm MEDIUM size charms and can be found in our Linking Tools category.

We also offer a CHARM KEY for $8 that can be purchased in our Linking Tools category. Insert the key inbetween two links and turn the "key". Your link will stay open for easy attaching. Each key is packaged with simple directions. It works wonders and your fingers will love it!
LINK-D-LINK is our newest charm linking tool for 9mm Medium size charms. Just fit your links into the tool and with your right thumb, give the lever a push and your charm loosens for easy linking! It can be done with one hand and is ideal for those with arthritis. This tool is made in the USA and comes with easy to follow instructions.

ONCE I BUY MY BRACELET, HOW DO I CARE AND CLEAN IT?

Our charm bracelets are made of high quality stainless steel and 18 karat gold. As a result, you can wear your bracelets every day and never worry about them tarnishing or rusting. Special care should be taken when wearing dangle charms to prevent damage to the charm and your clothing. Dangle charms are not recommended for children. As with any fine jewelry, it is best to remove your bracelet while showering or swimming and to keep it away from chemicals. Italiancharms offers a jeweler's polishing cloth (Linking Tools category) for $4 that will keep your bracelet clean and shiny.

WHAT ARE PANDORA BEAD BRACELETS?

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT OPTIONS?


We accept all major U.S. credit cards. We do not accept personal checks or money orders. We retain the right to cancel orders that appear fraudulent or suspect. We will report fradulent transactions to the proper authorities.

HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU SHIP OUT MY ORDER?

Most orders are shipped within two to three business days Monday through Friday. Your credit card will not be charged until your order is ready to ship. We will contact you promptly via email regarding credit card problems, items being out of stock, and address verification questions.

USPS Priority Mail
Shipping is through USPS Priority Mail. Priority Mail generally takes three to five days for delivery. The chart below will give you an idea for delivery time from California.




First Class USPS - Economy Shipping

First Class shipping is available for $1.49 for orders up to $45. Please allow two to three days for processing your order plus shipping time. Deliveries can take up to 10 days depending on your location. Your merchandise will be sent in a padded envelope as shown in the picture. Gift wrap is not available.

UPS Overnight or 2nd Day Delivery

UPS Second Day and Overnight shipping is available for delivery Monday through Friday. Shipping charge for UPS 3 Day is $15, UPS Second Day is $20 and UPS Overnight is $40. Orders must be placed before 11 AM PST to be processed on the same business day Monday through Friday. Orders placed after 11 AM PST on Friday and weekend orders will be processed on Monday or the next business day in event of a holiday. Please note that UPS does not count Saturday and Sunday as business days for delivery or pick-up from our office. If you selected UPS 2nd Day and your order was shipped on Thursday, your order will be delivered on Monday. If your 2nd Day order was shipped on Monday, you'll receive it on Wednesday. An overnight delivery sent on Friday will be delivered on Monday. Saturday delivery is not available. There will be a surcharge if the address you entered is incorrect causing your UPS package to be redirected. On our checkout page, please select UPS expedited shipping if desired.

International Shipping


Shipping to Canada is available for $5.50 up to one pound. Packages are sent via US Mail (not Priority Mail). Packages generally take about 7-14 days from the ship date to arrive.

Please contact us if you are interested in having items sent to Western Europe. Approximate shipping cost is $8 USD to Western Europe via International Airmail and can take anywhere from 10-21 days because of customs (import tax) delays. International Priority Mail is $24 USD and can take 7-15 days because of customs and sometimes longer.

Any duty, tariff, customs charges or other charges levied by your country of entry is the buyer’s responsibility. Italiancharms is not responsible for any additional charge once the items you ordered have left the U.S. If charges are levied in your country, and you refuse to pay them, your credit card will be charged for all outgoing and return delivery charges that may be incurred by Italiancharms. When the refused merchandise is received by us, your charge card will be credited for the merchandise only and not shipping expenses. Once your order has left the United State, we cannot effectively track it any longer. We are not responsible for any delays due to Customs. Should your package not arrive in time, we reserve the right to wait 6 weeks from the ship date before refunding your money.


DO YOU OFFER GIFT BOXES?

Yes, your order can be gift boxed upon request for $1. We'll also include a gift note if requested. Sorry, but gift boxes are not available with first class USPS shipping.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

If you prefer, you may return your unworn purchase within 15 days of the shipment date and exchange it for another item. There is a 10% re-stocking fee for any amount that is refunded to your credit card. A re-stocking fee does not apply if it is an even exchange or if you purchase more than the returned amount. Contact us by email with your order number and reason for exchange. Provide us with the description and item number that you would like in exchange. We will email you an exchange authorization code along with instructions for sending back your merchandise. Your exchange must be sent in a padded envelope and received by us within 10 days from when your return authorization number was issued. Shipping cost is not refundable. The ItalianCharms privacy policy is designed to ensure that any personal information you provide us with will remain private. Your information is used by our employees to process your order. Your address and will be shared with the delivery service (USPS or UPS) that we use.
