Flattening a gold ribbon to the proper thickness.

Gold strips pass through a mold that cuts the charms. Hearts fall into the red box.

The hearts are now ready for soldering.

We can appreciate the detailed work it requires to hand craft and paint the charms.
Rinsing charms after an acid wash. After washing, strips of charms are placed in a machine for drying.

Polishing the strips of charms.
Stones are set using a machine that crimps the setting around each stone.
A finished strip of stones. We saw a variety of choices in different shapes including cabochon, hearts, and rounds. There were so many colors to choose from!
